This weeks topic is trains and the colour is yellow.  We have had a whole week full of Thomas trains, lego trains, train station role-play.  We have been to the beach on the train and to Didcot.  The children have made train collages, train sponge painting whilst working out which train is big and which train is small.  Listening to lots of stories and singing rhymes about trains.

We have been over to visit the allotment and water our produce ( I think the children had more water on them than the vegetables did!) the children love going to the allotment where they can take great pride in watching the vegetables they have planted grow,  We also have a spare bed where they can dig or play with trucks.
