This terms topic has been based on The Gruffalo Stories.  We have been reading the stories which the children know off by heart!  The children have been making all the characters & their houses to decorate our display board.  We have been out for nature walks to collect sticks & leaves to make a logpile house to put on the board.  The children have been using various different types of media to create all the animals.  The had great fun reciting the story whilst the different characters were put onto the parachute for them to swish & swoosh around.  This activity covered a lot of areas in the EYFS whilst ensuring the children all had lots of fun!  They practised their mark-making by colouring in the Stick Man.
