This term the children have been learning all about shape, pattern & colour.  We have been looking at all different shapes in and around Pre-school.  Experimenting with mixing different colours.  The children have been on Safari, In boats at Sea.  There has been lots of mark-making, arts & crafts.  We celebrated Burns Night the children made some shortbread and had fun doing some Scottish dancing.  We celebrated Chinese New Year and sampled some Chinese food where the children were practicing using chopsticks.  We made some very sparkly love hearts for Valentine’s Day.  The Owls (are children who are transitioning to school) have been busy practicing getting changed into their PE kits, writing their names, lots of maths activities and learning some phonics.
