We have been to down to the allotment to harvest our green pumpkins, collect the rest of our leaks and carrots. The children enjoyed pulling up the carrots and going back to pre-school to have some for snack and take some home to share with their families.

We have used the pumpkins and leaks in our home cooked food, the children have had pumpkin and turkey casserole, and their favourite pumpkin and chocolate muffins.     Next week we hope to make pumpkin bread.
