The children have had great fun lining chairs up to create their own train, discussing their favourite places to visit, Reading and the seaside. 

The discussions led to making their own bus and finding out how many had been on a bus and where to. With again Reading and the seaside being a popular destination. Some children having been to Wallingford and to catch a plane on a bus before. This was to lead onto singing rhymes The big Red Bus and The Runaway train.

We managed to go for a trip to the post office in between the showers. The children were able to see their letters get weighed, buy the stamps to go on them and best of all post them in the post box.

We have had the parachute out this week, the children have been learning about being gentle, shaking the parachute gently and then quickly and fiercely shaking it. They have made their squirrel and fox jump around in the parachute and best of all go under it, causing excited squeals of laughter.

The boys have had great fun this week making patterns with their cars and trucks as they dip the wheels in paint and run them across the paper.

The children have being learning about sharing, taking turns and working together as they have been doing the large floor puzzles with the big bus and space puzzle being favourites.
