>We have been learning about boats, life-boats and pirate ships this week and the colour has been orange.  The children have had lots of water play this week, playing with the boats in the big water tray, the figure of eight which is quite tricky as it has bridges and other obstacles for the children to manoeuvre the boats through.  We have had a lot a very scary Pirates in Pre-school aswell.  We also got our inflatable outdoor play area out this week, it has inflatable sides with basketball hoops, football nets and a tennis net inside it.  The children were very excited when they first saw it as they thought it was a bouncy castle.  They had great fun playing in it with the bats & balls and footballs.
