Summer Holiday Club: Taking Bookings now!
09/05/2013Term Dates 2013 to 2014
20/09/2013
We welcome everyone back new and old after our summer break. We have had a fun filled few weeks running our holiday club where we have met up with old friends and enjoyed making new ones. There will be more information about our next holiday club at Easter coming shortly.
We came back this term to learn about ourselves through drawing pictures and bringing in photos of our family to show our friends at pre-school. We had child focus activities where the children chose their favourite toys and games to have out, with Thomas, Peppa pig, and super heroes being the most popular themes.
The children have been busy baking cakes and designing sandwiches to enter into the Woodcote festival. They have been down the allotment selecting their best produce to enter into the competitions, as well as making a scarecrow and measuring their sunflowers to see whose has grown the tallest.
The children have been learning about the changing seasons, looking at the shapes and colours of autumn and the different clothes we wear. They have been thinking about harvest time and the giving and receiving of food. We are getting together with the cabin Pre-school to share in the harvest festival by singing songs about tractors, food, autumn leaves and the dingle dangle scarecrow. If you would like to join us to celebrate the harvest festival come to St Leonards church on 4th October at 10.00am
If you would like your child to join us at Woodcote Pre-School contact Liz on 01491 682300 or Email
