Well so far, so good, down at the allotment. Our potatoes are coming through nicely, the sunflowers are trying their best and the carrots… ah yes, the carrots. Well there does seem to be some kind of activity going on there, but I’m reserving judgement for the moment (crosses fingers and hopes for a miracle). We have had a lot of fun watering the plants, ourselves, and just about every inch of ground from the water trough to the vegetable beds. The strawberries are looking good and our little horticulturalists have done well to understand you cannot pick them until they are RED! Back inside we have been making delicious cheese and sweet-corn scones, chocolate muffins and rhubarb crumble.

On the craft table the paint has been out with glorious results: plenty of animal printing and finger painting.
