We are busy as ever at Munch Bunch, making delicious cheese and ham scones (that’s lunch taken care of then). We went all romantic to celebrate Valentine’s Day and made heart-shaped biscuits, with a strawberry cream filling. Any parents lucky enough to taste them were in for a treat. Traditional fairy cakes were decorated with icing and a generous number of sprinkles. Let’s just say our chefs seem to take the same scattergun approach with cake decorating, as they do with glitter, the results were, of course, delightful. Over on the craft table beautiful daffodils have been created, heart shaped mobiles (more glitter) and Valentine’s Day cards (that finished off the glitter, better get more for Mothers’ Day). By the time you read this we anticipate having had our first trip to the allotment. With watering cans at the ready, let’s see what we can grow this year! We do have a few spaces available, and as the weather begins to get warmer it is an ideal time to pop along and see what we get up to on a Monday morning.
