The children have been learning lots of songs and actions since the beginning of term and were absolutely wonderful! Reverend Linda Smith held a lovely service and talked to all the children about Harvest Festival. We donated lots of tins and packets of food and the children baked our traditional Harvest loaf of bread.
It took us quite a while to take all the donations to the altar as we had so many things donated a big thank you to everyone who contributed.
In Pre-School this week we have had lots of fun role-playing bakers and shops, building various houses and castles with various construction materials, we painted some clay leaves.
We have been for more walks around the recreation ground to collect leaves, conkers and twigs. The children baked some hedgehog rolls to take home and to eat for their afternoon snack. Our focused activity this week has been counting, sorting and number recognition.
